In 1973, Richard Eggleton, founder of Borderline, invented the first free-form, concrete garden kerbing machine. Manufacturing was commenced in 1979, and the first machines were marketed in 1980. Thanks to Richard’s vision, gardeners were no longer restricted in what could be achieved and they could now contour, contain and create. This resulted in invitations to appear on TV shows like: “What’ll They Think Of Next”, “Gardening Australia” and “Bourke’s Backyard” and has represented Australia in many trade shows overseas This machine is now used worldwide, and has created many business and job opportunities. Borderline also manufactures a Trench Digger to prepare the site for the concrete garden kerbing; we also can supply Stamp Pattern Rollers and Hand Stamps for decorative finishes on concrete kerbing/curbing.
